Have fun, guys!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;About the memorization vs. calculation bit, that reminds me of a presentation I once attended on ancient Egyptian mathematics (yeah - me, the super-geek.. ;-) &lt;br /&gt;They too used the 10-decimal system, but kept it at integers and fractions. Calculations were done, mainly for market price purposes, and only the scribes could calculate. But in some of the scrolls it showed, that a particular scribe had memorized some multiplications - because he skipped some of the calculation steps and just jotted down the result (although not always being right). So this story confirms that ever since the dawn of history, we&#039;ve changed between memory and calculation/logic. Thanks for a good blog post! :-)</description>
