I really like the interview analogy. Would you also extend the questioning, and hence testing, approach to interviewing such that it includes your gut feel about the person? I know that when I'm interviewing candidates, one of the big things I keep at the back of my mind is "can I work with this person every day? Do we get along?". I think as a tester I apply the same semi-concious thought process to my evaluation of software: Can I (as a x-type-user) work with this software/feature/behaviour in its current state? What would I change about it in order to /feel/ better about it?
